The LED on your device is activating but no vapour is produced. This is a frustrating but usually fixable problem. Here is a clear guide to what causes it and how to diagnose and resolve it.
When your vape device lights up (confirming the battery is activating and sending power) but produces no vapour, the problem is between the battery and the coil. The battery is working, that is confirmed by the LED. The issue is either that the power is not reaching the coil correctly, the coil is not heating, or the airflow is blocked. Each of these has a specific fix.
The most common cause. The coil or pod is not making proper electrical contact with the device's firing pin. For replacement coil tanks: remove the coil, check for any debris on the pin or in the coil base, and reinstall the coil firmly but without over-tightening. For pod devices: remove and reinsert the pod, ensuring it clicks fully into place. A small piece of pocket lint or e-liquid residue on the connection points is often enough to break the circuit.
If airflow ports at the base or side of the device are blocked, by pocket fluff, liquid residue or simply fingers, the device fires but the blocked airflow creates resistance that makes drawing impossible. Check that the airflow ports are clear and unobstructed. For adjustable airflow devices, ensure the airflow ring is open and not closed.
A coil that has burned out, shorted internally or flooded severely may not heat even when power is applied. The device fires (LED activates) but the coil does not heat. Replace the coil. A new coil that does not work points to a device connection issue, clean the threading and pin contact area and try again.
Some devices activate their LED even at very low battery levels but do not produce enough power to heat the coil adequately. The result is the LED lights but vapour production is minimal or absent. Charge the device fully. If the problem resolves on charge completion, this was the cause.
If none of the above resolves the issue and the device is within its warranty period (typically 30 days from purchase for most devices), it may have a genuine manufacturing fault. Contact the retailer with your proof of purchase for a warranty replacement assessment.
