If you've noticed e-liquid prices have increased on our site, this page explains exactly why, what the new prices are, and what you can expect going forward. We want to be as transparent as possible. You deserve the full picture.
What's changed
Our e-liquid prices have increased as of 5th October 2026
The prices on this page reflect our own pricing decisions at Touch of Vape. Other retailers may have made different choices about how to handle the new duty. We can only explain what we have done and why.
From 5th October 2026, e-liquid prices at Touch of Vape have increased. Here is a straightforward breakdown of our current pricing by category:

Why prices have changed
The UK Government introduced a new vape duty on 1st October 2026
On 1st October 2026, the UK Government's new vape excise duty came into force. This applies a charge of £2.20 per 10ml of e-liquid, excluding VAT (which works out to £2.64 per 10ml at the point of sale once VAT is added). This applies to every e-liquid sold in the UK, across every retailer, every brand, and every nicotine strength.
To give you a sense of what that duty represents: a single 100ml shortfill now carries £26.40 in duty built into its price before any other costs are factored in.
From October 1st retailers have a 6-month grace period to sell any remaining stock they have. We have made financial decisions to ensure stock will be available to our customers for this period.
Earlier this year, we made the decision to ensure we have product available until April 2027 to guarantee our customers have product at the pre-tax rate. This has allowed us to absorb much of the duty impact and offer you pricing that is significantly lower than what the full duty charge would otherwise demand. The prices you see today reflect that effort.
The prices above are our best effort to keep things affordable for our customers for as long as our existing stock holds out. We are not simply passing the full duty cost directly to you. We have worked hard to find a middle ground, and the current pricing reflects that.
How long will these prices last
Current pricing is valid until end of March 2027, or until stock runs out
The prices listed on this page are active from 5th October 2026. They will remain in place until the end of March 2027, or until our existing pre-duty stock runs out, whichever happens first.
We will have stock availble from October through to March at the pre-tax rate. However, we are seeing significant supply chain disruption and stock outages across the industry as demand surges ahead of the duty change. If our stock runs out before March 2027, we may attempt to order more from our suppliers, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. If additional stock cannot be obtained, prices may need to increase sooner than March 2027.
We will always communicate any changes as early as possible.

Current pricing in effect
Nicotine salts 4 for £12, TOV own-brand 5 for £12, shortfills from £12. These prices reflect our pre-duty stock and will remain active while that stock lasts.
Mar 2027
Current pricing period ends
Our pre-duty stock window closes. Pricing from this point will depend on what stock we hold, what we are able to source, and what the supply chain looks like at that time. Prices are expected to increase further.
Important: From this point, any e-liquid sold in the UK without a duty-paid stamp is classed as illegal product and cannot lawfully be sold. If you see e-liquid being sold without a duty stamp after this date, it has not had the correct duty paid on it. All e-liquid sold at Touch of Vape from this point will carry the required duty stamp.

Full duty pricing applies industry-wide
From April 2027, all remaining stock across the industry will be sold at fully duty-inclusive prices. Prices are expected to increase further at this point. We will keep you informed as the picture becomes clearer.

Frequently asked questions
Why have prices gone up? Is this just Touch of Vape putting prices up?
No. The UK Government introduced a new vape excise duty on 5th October 2026, which applies to all e-liquid sold in the UK. Every retailer in the country is affected. Our price increase reflects that duty. We have actually worked to minimise the impact on our customers by purchasing stock in advance. We cannot speak for what other retailers are charging, only for our own pricing decisions.
How long will the current prices stay in place?
Our current pricing is in place until the end of March 2027, or until our pre-duty stock runs out, whichever comes first. We have already secured six months' worth of stock, so we expect to maintain these prices through to March 2027 in most cases. However, industry-wide supply issues mean we cannot make an absolute guarantee. We will let customers know as soon as anything changes.
Will prices go up again after March 2027?
It is likely that prices will increase further from April 2027 when the full duty pricing applies across the entire industry. We are not in a position to confirm exact future prices at this stage, but we will communicate any changes clearly and as early as possible.
Are all retailers charging the same prices?
We cannot speak for other retailers. Different retailers will have made different decisions about how to handle the duty. Some may have more or less pre-duty stock, and some may have chosen different pricing strategies. The prices on this page are specific to Touch of Vape.
Does this affect all e-liquids or just some?
The duty applies to all e-liquid: every brand, every flavour, every nicotine strength. It is a blanket charge of £2.20 per 10ml (£2.64 including VAT), regardless of the product. Our pricing update therefore applies across our entire e-liquid range.
